Evo 5rs underside restoration and fresh spec

Evo 5rs underside restoration
Bought this last year off rob Dunphy after I sold my tme mak rs that's also on here is the restoration witch I also did the underside of now the plan was for this rs was to do a fue track days befour the car changed and new spec so after a few track days I desided to sell.off the unwanted parts I wasn't going to use ect engine turbo intercooler kit ect

Type C 17×9 et28 Front et40 rear 5mm spacers all round

255/40/17 Yokohama ADO8R tyres

Evo 8 GSR brembo calipers

Carbon Lorraine RC6 pads

Very impressive spec list there Paul that certainly isn't going to be a low budget build, the underside has cleaned up very nicely, I'm looking forward to your progress on this one.

Cheers pal ye I agree it won't be a low budget pal but as I see it I'll be keeping this for meself as iv always wanted a 5rs and now I have it so I'll do my best on this restoring the underside has fue stone chips on spare wheel well but hopefully once cleaned it won't be to bad so I can clear coat the full underside and then 3m stone chip the wheel Archs in white lots to be done yet to it be a case of over a year doing it right with all new parts engine wise

Are you leaving the factory stone chip on? And clear over that and factory primer/paint?

Will.do pal thanks will be a long process as I'm. Fussy and want it 110% and have lots of faith in Simon at norris designs so.ill.have a cracking engine setup too so fingers crossed all goes to plan

It does look very clean. Fair play mate. Are you doing that to stay original? Or more because you don't feel it needs it?

What will you do with the rust that you do have?

I'm (very slowly) doing mine, it's minty mint underneath except some stone chips that have light rust in them. But one thing I have found is paint that looks perfect on the outside actually in places underneath had rust, only bits but it was still there.
