My manifold has cracked big time!!

Not very happy about this as you can imagine

only had this manifold a few months and its split at one of the welds directly in the middle!! car sounds like a diesel tractor

I'll post up pics when the sun comes up.

it's a stainless steel Manifold from Japspeed, can it be re-welded?

What did you expect buying a cheap manifold? I was going to say but didn't want to reuin the traders thread. Buy decent and buy once at the same time save yourself loads of hassle.

You should have said mate, I respect your advice, I really thought it would be alright as I'm still running OEM turbo, butt yeah...new it was too cheap to be good.

Can I scotch weld it so I can atleast drive it off boost to the garage do you know?

Prone for cracking and there are threads regarding the Japspeed and the likes cracking.

I remember a thread when a bit of the weld went through the turbo as well.

Tegiwa is the cheapest of the better branded ones I.e JMF , Race-Tech , etc.

yeah I've checked for bits of weld missing and possibly being sucked through the turbo, but this crack is really straight and straight down the middle of the weld.

I'll check out Tegiwa, are they any good do you know? getting a HKS GTII soon so... f5**k it!! I need a decent manifold anyhow.
