Talking TRACKDAY VIRGIN NO LONGER lol p2

Got rid of my trackday virginity recently, at
Anglesey 28th April .
** Original posted in Trackday section-most prob the wrong place so posted here again *********

Had a fantastic time, met a few MLR members, had access to both the International and Coastal race circuit, for the day.

A big thanks to the help n support of the MLR boys from Blackpool, didn't know them, but they lent me some V-Power which I was very grateful for, as it was surprising how much fuel you get through, and how few miles you get to a full tank.

Availability of petrol was the only downside to the track.
You really should be warned to take jerry cans of fuel, as no petrol available at the circuit.
I ended up going round in circles ( on the road ) looking for a garage selling the stuff, so lost quite a bit of time doing just that.

Only have a few pic's, but, nice to see many different cars, and enthusiasts enjoying themselves in a very friendly atmosphere.
** Just realised 6 pic's is the max I can put up so will (presumably have to have another thread for the other piic's ) **

I was "spotted" down your way recently, driving down to Poole for the boat. Roads around there are interesting

Cool

Cheers, sure I'm not as quick as the Irish boys, but like to chase anything on a track.

Best day of my recent trip.
Apart from the drive up from Cardiff on the A470? just followed the Sat nav
Took me though big hills and down valleys ending in a superb stretch just before getting to Anglesy, now that was without doubt THE BEST road I have driven in the UK so far.
BIG smile spent a lot of the time airborne- don't know why you blokes need a racetrack with roads like that.

Because there too many hitler cops round here

I agree with the lack of fuel near ty croes ,nearest is RAF valley ish

I here there's still more to come with anglesey , on site hotel etc so maybe a petrol station ? Or some one should open one as they would make a killing

I can't wait to get back there, just doing few upgrades to mine

Exclamation

Yes mine had been at Ant's for a good week, so I was Evo-less for the longest period ever.
Must have got a little too enthusiastic as got on the motorway at Anglesey ( didn't even realise where I was -a bit tired by then. Pulled alongside a blue Scooby sun was going down and driving towards it was a bit of a b***er was going to give him thumbs up as it looked a good one.

But got wrong switch to lower the side window ( yup def a bit too tired ) so booted it next thing I got to have a long chat in the back of a car with big blue flashing light. 1st time ever honestly.

So yup zero tolerance by plod up there, never mind could have been worse, if he had got me a few mins earlier, would't have had enough money for on the spot fine

Cheers Ian
