Yes, i was set to buy it a couple of Month ago, took it for a test drive and the turbo literally fell apart, the clutch was slipping and it dumped a load of coolant out on the floor. The car itself looks tidy but looks can be decieving. It was also registered as a lancia which took a month to sort out. I wouldn't deal with Motorhub if i were you. I also did a Jap hpi which when i had it translated came back saying suspect engine noises.
Yeah i'd steer well clear. They've just got a Imperial Blue Escort Cossie in stock that's been clocked by at least 20k miles, although i'd say more like 30K. It had 108K on in May 2016 and now its up with 89K
They also have a blue Astra GSI in stock reg number K353FRB that's clocked at least twice and by at least 50K miles
Took about 10 seconds to see had been clocked on the MOT database online.
You'd have to ask yourself why would they buy such a car for their stock knowing it had been clocked - I'm guessing they would do the relevant mileage checks before handing over their "hard earned"
I enquirer about the ix mr hey have, to say he was a clown is being nice. Knew nothing of the import grade, under seal, rear fog light, Japanese history, Japanese HPI.......
I've been around Evos for 15 years and Keighley area is a no go zone......
Yeah true i'm just saying plenty of cars go through auctions (uk and Japan) that have been clocked but people still buy them be it dealers or private buyers. I guess if the price is right everything is worth something.
