Fitting an AEM CD-7 Display. Not 100% finished but you get the idea.

Removed the battery, UICP, fan, rad, elbow, manifold from block, undone the turbo feeds and pulled the mani and turbo out together. Replaced the turbo oil return as the other one had a hole, and then put the ******* all back together, replacing the manky manifold to block nuts while i was at it. If there's any oil on my garage floor tomorow I'm going to top myself, this is the 2nd weekend on the trot I've had to put it back together, because I was getting my turbo studs replaced last weekend which is how the oil return got the hole. Numb nuts here left the battery connected and touched the starter which made a little hole in the return without me realising....

Picked it up from indigo GT. The car now drives as it should and the gearbox is silent when stationary.

Money well spent.

Car serviced and mot, passed no advisories. Calipers changed to a nice fresh red colour after fading pink.

well yesterday I advertised it, then this morning I sat at the end of the drive wondering if it was the right thing to do ... but I really fancy building a silly little track day hatch back to maintain and play with myself...
