Resprayed my bonnet grill/mesh, it turned out surprisingly well!

I did notice a few of the black plastic push clips are brittle from the heat and are done! So I need to try find some of those now, Ross Sport will hopefully have some

Homebase sell the Rustoleum BBQ/Stove spray paint, it was £5 on sale, I think its good up to like 850 degrees C, they only do it in Matt finish though, I don't think you can get it in gloss!

Fitted a new battery as the last one sounded lazy when starting the car.

No worries! Yeah, I actually like the look of the matt paint, looks quite subtle and the end product is great for me

Went out for a burn with my bro, we have some of the best roads out there....that's only if you're not stuck behind tractors, caravans, cyclists or old people

I think a matt black fin/louvre plate (if that's what you call it ) and then gloss black mesh, but make sure not to spray the rubber around the edge of the mesh like some people on the evolutionm

Great looking car! 2 great cars competing against each other, but the better one is very apparent!

Thanks mate!

Yeah to remove these;

1. Open the bonnet (obv )
2. Locate all 6 black push pins (this should allow the fin plate panel to come out in towards the engine bay)
3. Undo all 6 nuts (3 either side) which then should allow you to pop the mesh panels up out from the bonnet (they may be a bit stubborn, so give the bolt stems a tap with a hammer)
4. Reverse the process once you've done what you want to do!
