i would like some reccomendations.

in the coming months im going to be bringing my V back to life. probably beginning of 2018, but I can move on it sooner,.

it needs rear end chasis rust sorting.

I have been awaiting a price or rough idea on cost from autotorque.

car is Wirral/chester area. is there any places that would do similar work, I-e rear legs replacement, full underside rustproof, fit or supply fit rs diff setup change timing belt system, refurb fuel tank and generally put my car back together

is there anyone closer to me that can do it, I don't want to just jump on the first quote I get.

i bet theres not many if any willing to take it on costs can spirl out of control very quickly

personally if your not confident with doing it yourself ,sell up and buy something OK ,its likly to work out cheaper in the long run

I'd give [email protected] a call, see if he would take it on, or if not, point you in the direction of someone good

Autotorque seem to be the ones for this, have they seen the car? Im guessing they will need to to cost it properly.

ill contact gaz, I have contacted autotorque, they have given me a price, it is fair given the quality of their work, I don't want to give up on the car, but cost wise it is heading towards buying another.

Ah I see. Always worth pulling in alternative quotes but it is a labour intensive job so requires a lot of hours. You could reshell it?

you could always google 'classic car restoration' near you - and get a quote closer to home.
it's not really a job that only an evo specialist can undertake.

having said that - I've just dropped mine to Auto Torque for undersealling, but they are pretty local to me

awaiting a rough price from cpp, although the reshell idea seems a viable option too, if costing is right.
