Need to remember evo's are getting old now and times are EVOlving ( see what i did there )
New performance cars are serious bits of kit with serious price tags. Ive found myself thinking what else i would like.
Escort corworth or an R8 v10 for me i think. or an old F355

Nothing makes me smile more than a blast in my evo!

This A45 AMG is the ultimate force on the road today, and a EVO would be well advised not to mess with it.

I would go for the new WRX STI if I for something similar to the evo, decent noise and six speed manual. So many of the of the focus, golfs, audis and A45s around on the road, I would go for something different.

Utter tosh!!! They are good cars, but not that good.

There are quite a few cars that spring to mind will whap one of these pimped up shopping trolleys.

I would not provoke or test a dual with a A45 AMG if I were you, unless you want to be taught a very hard lesson. You will make a fool of yourself.

I had a little play with one of these over here when I was in my 9 a little while back (actually was quite a while ago probably since I can't remember the last time I drove her ); unfortunately it didn't last very long as after I passed him he couldn't keep up and then gave up!!

Looked nice though, matt grey with black accents and some red strips...sounded OK too...

Depends on what EVO you are talking about, I had a play with a CLA45 AMG in my 400 on a dual carriageway with a few roundabouts and it's safe to say I made a fool out of him

Much like yourself now then?

Even the old RS3 is on par in terms of acceleration with these at 4.6 seconds.

Everyday cars that ARE quicker then the AMG:

Nissan GT-R
F80 M3
F81 M4
F10 M5
F13 M6
BMW M2
Lotus Exige S

....oh and the standard Evos which WILL rip the AMG a new hole are:

VIII MR FQ-400
IX FQ 360 and FQ-360 MR
X FQ-400 and X FQ-440 MR

Please feel free to research the performance data for any of these against your A45 to see for yourself.

My point is made. Enjoy your car.
