Looks sweeet. Priced right with mileage if garaged for 5 years and no mileage added profit to be made Rare car

Looks dodgy to me. Too cheap, No description and mot history looks dodgy. Moted 20th may 2016 then again in December 2016? Didn't think that was allowed? Also shows up as silver.

You can MoT a car as frequently as you wish. You just pay each time so it's generally pointless.

The owner probably got a new MoT for the sale (possibly expected to sell it quickly and have a full 12 month MoT on it).

Probably not that cheap for a 78k mile IX MR ...?

No description is not ideal and silver colour on the V5 may be indicative of an issue ...

One thing I never get is why do people sell such a rare and "seemingly" desirable car on eBay ??

It's not a ford focus for FS unless it is dodgy..

At one point you couldn't MOT a vechicle until a certain amount of weeks before 'due date'. Well that was my understanding of it anyway...

If you want to maintain the anniversary of the existing MoT, you can only renew the MoT within a month of the expiry date (e.g. if it expires on 15-Apr-17, you could MoT the car on 24-Mar-17 and the MoT would last until 15-Apr-18).

If you renew outside of this period, the new MoT expires 12 months after the test date (e.g 02-Mar-17 to 01-Mar-18).

I went to view/test drive this car. My findings were;

* it's a two owner car but seller claims they know each other
* it's not standard as advertised, it's been remapped by HQ Scotland, no solenoid upgrade and has a boost spike
* front splitter has been wrapped which is bubbling off, mounting clips broken it has been secured with cable ties
* N/S/R boot to wing lines out, boot has been damaged and has a slight kink does not line up
* needs brake service/replacement
* as mentioned above logbook states silver but the car has not had a colour change so maybe a mistake
* oil temp sensor damaged

Generally needs work a bit tatty, but has good documented history with invoices but as above it's no where near as good as advertised. Not worth the asking price imho.

I passed and found another with 48k.

Regards, Stu.
