With mapping the only thing left to do, the car's otherwise ready for a few laps of Cadwell next Monday, featuring it's new, more track focused interior, chassis bracing and APR GTC300 wing.

Very serious looking and spec'ed evo now! If I had been brave enough to track mine I'd love to turn it into something like this.

Looking good now bud, lots of time effort and ££££ put in but well worth it!

I love the rear wing, really suits it.

Yeah it's been a huge amount of fun building this car, with a very capable team behind me who have really turned my original vision into a reality that has exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to make another visit to Spa and Nurburgring in August in it. There's not many people who get to drive their dream car, but that's exactly what MG Auto Motorsport have helped me achieve here. There's no other car I'd rather drive, so a big thanks to Mat, Dave, Simon and Jordy. #TeamMG

#GotAero

First drive of it this morning since a quck spin on a dyno to check AFR ratios prior to a more extended mapping session planned after my trip to Cadwell Park on Monday to have a play during the public track time sessions. All I can say is, if you're thnking "shall I, shan't I" when it comes to rear wings. Do it. One word.... PLANTED.

…is that 6 gears Matt??? like, 6…as in 5 + 1???? Are you covering all bases or leaving 6 in there for the journeys to and from the rounds
Dont you be buying a trailer now or that 6th'll be null'n'void

No mate. 5 speed box. The key on the graph is a bit misleading, but theres five lines on it.

Trailer?! Moi?! And deny the villages to and from Spa and Nurburg the staccato throb of a cammed 4g63 with a GT1.0Z exhaust? Where's the fun in that?!

Syvecs

Little update on the current spec before this years run to Spa and the Ring for a good hiding.

The factory ECU has been replaced with a Syvecs S6 unit and augmented with JT Innovations Toucan display and Shift lights. I've managed to mount the shift lights behind the clear plastic that covers the white dials I put in previously, which looks pretty trick. It was quite easy to do to be fair.

Just needs mapping now.

I've also acquired a ported and zircotec coated stock intake manifold that will match the exhaust manifold, turbo and elbow on the hot side of the engine. That'll get fitted after the trip now, but I'll follow up with some photos once it's complete.

There's always something to do. Gotta love the #evolife.

Had the pleasure to have a look round your car Matt when I dropped my GT down at MG autos a couple of weeks back. All I can say is WOW! Attention to detail is immense. Will look forward to your next updates

I've had a few nice comments lately, so thanks to those of you who like the car. Latest update is that it's had a syvecs ecu, toucan screen and shift lights installed and has been mapped this afternoon. Not a bad result either, for pump fuel...
