Entered and may have convinced a work mate to enter too.

Decided I needed to support this after all as it's such a good series and i'v learnt so much from it.

How close are we?

Perhaps open it up to other models or even non members for this occasion? I know of at least 3 or 4 people who would snap this up but aren't members and don't drive Evos. Surely rather that than not holding it at all?
Ben, There's always been a Guest Class for all cars other than EVOs and Imprezas, and Non members have always been welcome in this group too. We had a couple of EVO drivers take part last year who weren't members as we were short on numbers, so we'll do the same this year - although I'd like to think an Evo owner would want to join the MLR anyway

Yes Barry - I had a good chat with Iain at Autosport, and sent him the calendar once it was confirmed. Unfortunately I never heard back but then noticed the Litchfield Sprint FB page had changed to to Litchfield Trackday page, so I assumed they weren't taking part this year! I've also sent the details to the GTROC too, but we have a few GTRs booked in for Combe so far.

Thanks to all of you for your comments, support and bookings! At this very moment we're at 26 entries. Ian B tells me he's aiming to book another 5 in later today which will make 31 competitors - so we're nearly there

If you're reading this and planning to take part whether you're driving an EVO, Impreza or 'something else', please go to the MLR Shop and by the end of Sunday night.

Just a reminder:
ALL cars need to have a valid MOT or MSA logbook to run in the MLR, 22B or Guest Classes, and have a securely mounted 1.5kg powder fire extinguisher in reach of the driver.

Last year we also ran some single seaters in a standalone Exhibition Class, which also included Gobstopper2 and Rich Marshall's 'Phoenix' as they didn't meet the Regs and/or have an MOT/logbook. These cars all got their times for each run, but weren't 'competing' with the rest of the field (MLR, 22B, Guest) as they didn't meet the regs, so if you'd like to take part with a similar car in Class E please let me know.

Well I suspect I won't be super competitive as I have never tried something like this before, and I must admit that I still haven't really pushed the car too far yet .

But you got to start somewhere so screw it I booked. I'll be happy as long as I stay on the track. Hope we manage to get enough competitors.
