outlander turbo

hey guys,

after i sold my evo ( http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=313439 ) (bought a house, got a girlfriend, bet a lot can relate to that ), drove a vr6 for a few years, but the turbo-virus got me again.

so i bought a mitsubishi outlander turbo. very few cars in belgium of this model, think maybe 2 or 3.

so knowledge about it is very little.

Got some little problems like a cracked exhaust manifold. are evo exhaust manifolds inteswappable with it? while i keep the outlander turbo still on for now?

Should be a straight swap to an evo one and the turbo will bolt up as before.

Turbo is single scroll on an Outlander not twin like an Evo, if we are talking the CU era Outlander / Airtrek.

yup, you are right. Got mine of the car, and took an evo 8 one of a friend of mine, and they arent interchangeable.

mine is cracked really bad. got 7 cracks in it, even at the flange where the turbo bolts on

was thinking about buying one of these, what you guys think?

Its hard to say mate, but generally cheap manifolds crack within weeks. Do you want me to price you a new OE one?
