If you are after a rotary a lot are using a DeWalt 849X which can be bought for around £140. However as already mentioned with you being new to detailing I would start with a DA polisher as it is near impossible to strikethrough your paintwork, DA can also be used for applying your wax with a finishing pad

Right. Took everyone's advice and bought a Kestrel DAS-6 kit, which came with polishes and pads and microfibres and tape etc etc etc.
So, I've watched about 1000 youtube videos on using a DA polisher, and will get the kit out when I get back on leave. Will post up a load of before and after shots to show everyone! 3 weeks.... Itching to use it too! ![]() |
