Can anyone tell me if the stock inlet manifold gasket is the same size openings exactly as the head or are the ports on the head smaller? Reason I'm asking is I'm porting a spare inlet manifold and I want to make sure it matches up but don't want to take my manifold off yet so I can't see!
If you can't answer my question please dont bother posting. I don't care for your obviously professional opinion on porting, if I did I'd have asked for it.
im not saying i know better than you ,its just theres is no need to gasket match the ports on the inlet and exhaust its achieves nothing ,the ports line up just nice
if it did wouldnt those little japanese fellas who REALLY knew what they where doing would have done so
I'm not trying to match the inlet manifold to the head, just smoothing out the runners but want to make sure the very minimal amount of material that does get removed doesn't end up wider than the ports on the head.
Lol try smoothing out your attitude you might get more gains from that :mhihi:
Hope you've got a sense o humour 👍
