Car was insured properly I told them it was a lease car, If I had not told them that I doubt they would have paid out, if they could have got away without paying they would have but everything was legit and insured properly, same goes for the night the car getting stolen I had to repeat the story 3 times to the insurance company and it had to be checked against my story that I gave the police on the night they attended.

Some insurance companies do offer like for like replacement if you are the owner of the car, but they get out of this as im not the owner im just renting/leasing it from Volkswagen and VW hold the original copy of the V5 document!!

Has anyone seen good lease deals for the Audi S1? I do fancy a bit of that. Sport back if possible.

I got my first lease car a couple of months ago for the wife

£192 per month x 36 and £500 down

10K Per Year Mileage

Got a 5 Door Seat Leon 1.6 TDI with all the toys you would need and Apple car play. Does a genuine 60+ MPG

Cheaper than buying something 2nd hand per month and its guaranteed motoring for 3 years, wish I done it years ago. This deal was from my local Seat dealer

Leases are great if you don't care about cars that much and just want to drive with no hassle

Through your Seat dealer? Interesting....

I didnt realise dealers could offer lease cars. I though it was all HP or PCP deals only.

Usually it is large lease companies that do the lease cars..

They would rather sell you a PCP as they are more expensive. I got a quote from yes car leasing, took it into the dealer and after a bit of moaning from them they matched it

If you want brand new, leases are cheaper than PCP. Why would you want PCP if you are going to hand the car back anyway and get a another new one? If you want to keep the car, you may as well just buy something a couple of years old in the first place

My Vauxhall Corsa VXR was leased through a Vauxhall dealer. I phoned the dealer and asked if they had any Corsa VXR's that I could lease, they come back with a high initial rental/deposit and monthly payments and I told them I wasn't interested they come back again with a offer and I told them it was still expensive, I told them I didn't want to pay a large initial upfront rental, got it in the end for £170 a month with £170 upfront rental payment.

The Golf R I leased was with a lease company who where advertising like the deals seen on this thread the lease company then put me in touch with a dealer who where offering the car for lease, I had to pay the lease company £200 for putting me in touch with the VW dealership who then I paid the upfront payment/deposit once the car was delivered!!!
