This is taken from the link that Dazk-EvoIV has put up New Shell V-Power unleaded is a 99RON octane fuel. By comparison, regular Shell unleaded is 95RON. New Shell V-Power unleaded -the power of high octane

I saw that in the FAQ too, but then wondered if thats been updated since the fuel has been updated, as the 'new v power' could be when it changed from optimax

I'd been using Momentum99 for years and are happy with it . RON numbers are not important, when you look at the spec sheets always look for MON number as it is far more important in informing you how much detonation resistance the fuel is capable of .

V-Power Nitro+ was 99 RON. The new fuel has gone back to being called V-Power (which it was immediately after being called Optimax and before being called V-Power Nitro+). Given that quite a few parts of the FAQ quote V-Power and the new DYNAFLEX, it seems as though this has been updated accordingly.

I cannot understand why is it so retarded with fuels in U.K. Compared to say Germany where at most pumps you can get 105 fuel... stop adding more fairy liquid and give us more octanes so we can boost higher!

Guys, if you have BA Executive club make sure you link your shell card to your executive club account, that way you earn avios points towards flights. I save £98 on a single flight recently and still got points left to use, all thanks to shell and my evo

Really? I've seen 102 RON at ARAL pumps but never seen 105 RON. Which brand(s) is that please?

Cars aren't mapped for it so there's no demand for it.
