We had this problem when we purchased ours a couple of months ago. Phoned in the end to be told the 5% discount does not apply to the GT1's .... Having said that we are pleased with the GT1's but disappointed that the discount does not apply to them as well

Thanks for the detailed replies Jerrick. It's great to see people on here able to back up products with data but it's also sad to see people like Phil be intentionally awkward. I wish the MLR was just full of tech related like that of which Jerrick posts.

Clearly someone else that doesn't have much of a clue about suspension systems. But feel free to buy a Meister product as it matters not a jot to me

You're the one that doesn't understand what Jerrick is saying, not me!

I use both Nitron R3 and also Intrax 1K2 on both my race cars. Good luck with your choice however. I do not wish to be the person that sells you a stamp let alone a suspension kit.

Sorry about that.
As the GT1 is our custom built unit, all of our dealers agreed that we will have a solid price once we move to the new price.
This mean no discount from anyone, as we already place the price of the GT1 well under the competitors.

I am always happy to take criticism head on.
If members feels that other product suit their needs better, then it is their opinion and I'll always respect that.

One thing with MeisterR is that we don't ever stand still, our R&D dept. are always working.
We will have fully independent 3-way adjustable suspension very soon, our prototype is on the dyno as we speak.

The initial testing have been great, provide TRUE independent adjustment.
You can adjust the rebound from full stiff to full soft on the dyno, and the compression value will not change a bit... ZERO Cross Talk... Lovely!

I'd suggest your footer needs updating, it's misleading given the discount doesn't actually apply to the parts most would want to buy, me included.

I bought this up in our internal meeting today, so we may make some changes after consulting a few of our dealers.

For those are interested, please hold for a little time and I'll get something sorted.

I've got the solution - put the price up 5% and then leave the footer just as it is

Can all MeistaR units be rebuilt Jerrick? Realise from reading this 7 page thread (with pop corn!) The GT1 can and is fully custom unit.... what about if you have a set of the older R or S on your car?.. if so is it crazy money?

All MeisterR dampers can be rebuild, but it doesn't make economical sense to do so many times.
For the Zeta series, we can replace an entire unit damper unit for £150.
A general service of a mono-tube damper is about £120, and that is only a service with no part replaced.

At this moment, we decided not to do built GT1 using old parts.
There are just too many unknown factors with a used damper, and if you want everything to be new you might as well start from a fresh build.
The last thing we want is to built a GT1, for it to fail 6 months down the line because there was a small score in the damper rod that we didn't see.

As far as offering a discount to the GT1 also, we are in discussion and I'll have something implemented in the next few days.
