Seems like the weakest point. Mine has the next level up (clubman) clutch packs and I've had no issues with my power levels. (It's also for sale if you fancy a white X instead )

Well just went to pick this car up and all I can say is AVOID IT.
body work not good,
front bumper hanging off drivers side,
side sills not done properly,
boot has had a bad re spray,
bonnet has dents in it

Onto the power, test drove it and never felt as fast as my last X which was running 370
Looking at paper trail, it had engine forged and mapped at indigo gt, but this was still on standard clutch plates. so cant imagine indigo letting it go with more then 370.
Clutch plates where done after engine, but there's no detail of further mapping.

Then after test drive the oil spots on the floor come, 2 pools of oil by front transfer box.

There's probably stuff I've missed out so not a good buy at all.

Plus there are refusing to give me my deposit back as they say it was a deposit to take car off sale. I say I want deposit back as car is not as advertised.
How do you think I stand here? Possibly distance selling rules as I did deposit over phone?
So after a 250 mile trip, im not a happy bunny.

Personally I think a deposit is a deposit, non returnable, and you dont pay 1 unless its a commitment to buy, so a deposit blind is a big gamble

But - if you paid over the phone on your credit card, the card company may help you

Just read the advert says split folding rear seats i have same car and certainly dont have folding rear seats (battery and washer tank in boot) also says half leather interior which doesn't look like leather to me. Misleading really

I emailed them the day they put it up and they finally emailed me back today. This was in the email which I had to laugh at.

"Thanks for the message on the Evo. Apologies for the delay in reply, we
had taken a deposit on the vehicle and the customer was pending but
unfortunately could not produce sufficient funds"

lol what a joke. This is a place to avoid, I was a bit weary straight away as the car is so out of place from what they look like they sell normally.

Just sent this to them.....

Hi Joe,
A few things i will point out to you, to give me a refund before i take this further.

Your email says - '
If you would like to hold the vehicle before coming down then we can do
> a deposit of £200 to take the car off sale, this will confirm the
> vehicle for yourself prior to coming down so no one else can have it.
> We
> can do this over the phone if easiest.'

Nothing about the deposit being non refundable.

The car was far from 'as described' with many things not as described.
I was expecting 'Leather Seat Trim' as it states in your advert. Not there.
I was expecting 'Rear Seats with 60/40 Split-Folding Backrests' as it states in your advert. Not there.
I was expecting 'Cruise Control' as it states in your advert. Not fitted.
The advert states that its 'CURRENTLY TUNED TO 460 BHP' I've driven performance cars for 25 years plus and the car felt more in the region of 380 BHP especially only peaking at 1.6 bar whilst on boost.
You said in email 'The bodywork is in very good condition, there is one scratch along one of the rear panels but this is going to the bodyshop to get repaired.' Yes it looks like you got the scratch repaired but there was some runs in it, the body work was far from 'in very good condition', 5 dents in the bonnet, front bumper drivers side hanging off, side skirts attached badly, boot had been sprayed badly, the list just goes on.
When we pulled up after test drive, the car started leaking oil from 2 spots.

After reading all this i hope you come to the right decision and refund me before i take this further.

Yours Ian
