It just gets better, this company is a joke.
In return to my email, they are accusing me of causing the damage as I drove it, and I quote -
'We would be more than happy to take this further to gain compensation for the damage you have caused to the vehicle and the loss of earnings we have suffered as a company over the past two weeks.'

What do you think of that lol

Trading Standards and Citizens Advice Bureau, no point in communicating any further.

Alternatively pay a solicitor to advise you and represent you.

They sound like a bunch of clowns. Worth getting some legal advice, how did you pay the deposit?

Sorry but I wanted a different colour than white as my last ten was white. But good luck with sale as it looks 10 times better then the one I went to see.

Paid by credit card so will give them a phone call to see where I stand.

There's no way I'd let them get away with that! Ok a deposit is normally non refundable BUT not if the car is not as described upon viewing?! Not sure how far u want to take it but surely the law would agree with the consumer in this scenario? I'm pretty sure they'd reimburse you your deposit once you start the ball rolling down the legal route.

Ps, you are rather silly leaving a deposit before viewing to be fair.

Happy to get it wrapped by my usual pro detailer prior to collection in the asking price
