For fast road then the brembos are more than fine with decent pads.

I went for the 356 k-sport kit because on track i couldnt get the heat out of the brembos, near on fire!...the k-sports for me have been faultless every trackday.

Now going to run k-sport calipers,xp10 pads, castrol srf fluid and AP discs

Its all opinions at the end of the day....as i wouldnt get the k-sport 330mm kit..too small for me.
running 380hp. 18 inch wheels, road use and the odd track day

I know someone who uses the standard Brembos and he does TA and the sprints... it's all in the pads.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your discs from and how much were they? I've got the 356mm K-Sport kit and I'm sure I'll need new discs come my next service. Also, if I need new pads too then I was thinking about getting a set of XP8s as the reviews are great. Again, where do you get yours from and how much do you pay?

I only ask as I've seen you giving a lot of good feedback on brakes etc. on here.

Cheers.

For what purpose?

Also, do you care about stopping power, cost, noise or dust?

Kind of agree with that Phil.. I had PF discs with XP10's all round. That set up was much better than stock brakes.

Then I upgraded to Porsche 6 pots front and Brembo 4 pots on the rears with XP10's all round.

Huge difference in braking power now with much better pedal feel.. much less effort required to press pedal.

Amazing brakes.

I have K Sports all round and they squeal like a burning pig! They really do work though and stop the car very very quickly. I can live with the squeal, kind of goes with the "rally" looks of the car.

It's all relative. I know lots of Evo drivers (and others) that use K Sport brakes and think they're great. Others have APs and think their great too. And there are some that had K Sport and then changed to AP and all think that AP are better. On my car we had APs which worked really well, but now we use Performance Friction. We've no intention of changing back. As i said, it's all relative

Agree...but I'd rather be able to stop!

Look my wheels are clean but I'm upside down in a ditch!

Lol true ... Are there any pads that offer less dust but still the full potential of the brakes?
