No probs mate I'm fine with it ... Mr turbo wont hold power and would be dropping 7kish I would think.... Mine is not dropping off to 8.3k. It's not considered a powerband if your not making power. I suspect the turbo won't last very long with high EGT'S and would be considered a pointless excercise.

My previous 9 turbo had awesome powerband!



When raising the boost, adjusting mapping, upgrading valvetrain and big cams it just makes the torque very peaky and does not give much wider powerband. Matt would know more as he ran a 9 turbo all out on this setup then done straight swap of turbos. Above graph is on stock engine but then it was ran on my current engine but I dont have the graph.

Thanks Mat, much appreciated bud All good so far 1k in just hope it stays sound. I turned the boost down as it was too mental in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.... feels like 3rd wants to blow up on high rpm shift up. Its still pretty manic but I think the rs box is just making it too much through those low gears. 4th and 5th is fine but lower down its like hell breaks loose then change, hell, then change, hell then change lol! Might go back to GSR box but need to live with this a bit more to see how I get on.

Would love that setup but as its my road car a dog box aint practical... If it worked properly on H pattern without damaging syncros I would defo have one.

Would be an expensive gamble

Would be nice for a tuner to set one up properly on a standard H-pattern syncro box and test it out for us
