It is unfortunately time to sell me beloved evo 2 RS the only reason being is that I have a baby on the way due in August so I've been told I need something "family oriented" lol I'll give the best discription of the car that I can for you all and thanks for looking
1994 Evo 2 RS
170,000KM
10 months MOT
Ill start with the bad bits
Could do with new top mounts that I haven't gotten around to doing.
Maybe a third gear synchro that I can get done before the sale if needed.
The front seats need a re trim, never bothered me as I was going to put in bucket seats.
Now the good bits
Runs really sweet
Front upper and lower strut braces
Rear upper strut brace
3" turbo back stainless exhaust system
Induction kit with battery moved into the boot
Body work in good condition considering its 23 years old and hasn't ever been inside a body shop
No real rot to speak of tiny bit of surface rust in the boot which you can only see as it's an RS and there is no boot carpet
I'd like to formally apologise about the state of of the car, roof rack and the roof box I've just come back from a weekend camping and it's filthy [emoji35][emoji24][emoji24]
Sorry that's my fault it's only because the floor has been wet and I don't want to get soaking, it's pretty dry down here now so I'll take some on my tea break, just underneath the car yeah? It hasn't been undersealed so you can see everything
As you can see there's a bit of surface rust on the underside of the spare wheel well but it's pretty clean considering 23 years without underseal let me know of any other areas you want and I'll take the pictures cheers
I will mention that I've been a motor trade paint sprayer for 10+ years so I can always get this addressed for anyone, all paintwork on the car is original apart from the bonnet vents that got stolen so I had to buy a second hand GSR bonnet and paint the vents to replace them
lol everyone needs an early I know I'm going to be so gutted when it's gone as doubt I'll ever find another one but I have to stay strong lol, I've almost pulled it off of eBay 3 times in 2 days haha
Yeah I know that's why it's so hard to let go of, I'll take it off of eBay if someone wants it I could do with it gone this weekend really so I can get another car sorted before I go back to work
If anyone is interested & can't get to view due to e.g. distance, I'd be happy to do so on their behalf
as I'm approx 8 miles away
.... with the sellers approval etc
You're experienced in all things evo lol... what you think I should do? Let it run on eBay? You think I'll get more bids in the last 24hrs? Or take it off and sell privately?
Cheers
