Is anyone on here using one of these products, I was thinking of removing the LCD clock in my 6 and enlarging the trim panel to fit one.
The blue rectangular one and hook up the sensors and maybe use a mirror toggle switch as the controller.

Not a big fan of the gauge pods and want to keep it stock looking, web pages shows it in action any users ?

Does anyone here have any experience of using this stuff? It looks great in the videos but is it really as good as it seems?

Cheaper option to wrap and you can do it yourself.

Here a video of a guy spraying the complete car from black to gloss white, you don't even need to mask the lights off as you can just peel it off when its dry, you could change the colour of your car or wheels every week if you wanted.

Hi guys,
I have just purchaced a 1998 RVR from jetfighter on this forum (great guy to deal with) and hope to continue the good work he has done. I bought it to use as a work car but after driving it home I think its to nice to use for that so my shiny Delica will probably now be going to work!

Until recently I was drag racing a 400hp mk1 Cortina but hopefully will use the rvr for some rwyb/test n tune events when it is sorted as I can't seem to get racing out of my system :shake:.

First step is a stainless exhaust and decat and hard intercooler pipes then decide whether to change the cams to evo6 cams (anybody got a pair lying around?) before taking it to be mapped.

I have already picked up a lot of tips from the forum and look forward to learning more as I go along.

spent a couple of days last week putting this one together for wy

as well as some window tints we also applied a gloss black wrap to the bonnet - boot and roof

we also had the wheels refurbed plus gloss carbon dash inserts and a days detailing with some lovely �800 wax

on arrival

wheels off clean routine

a quick inspection showed little more than some swirls and dull paint to deal with

in with the tints

and on with the wrap

and complete

work took place over a week

And I'm looking to update it alittle as afew sponsors have come on board unexpectedly since C1-R (my main sponsor) supported me last year. I want to have a theme going around the car more so and C1-R being more of a focus now that I have other sponsors (and more to follow hopefully)... Spreading their logos all around. I have already got it up on guru.com but getting designers quoting that can't show me designs already done on cars.

Can anyone or does anyone know of a good designer? I already have a friend who can do all the graphics for me at a good rate and only round corner from me so it is literally just the design, unless someone wants to design and print with a deal sorted with sponsorship? The design will need to be scaled to suit an Evo 6 so printer can use artwork easily and fit.

Here are afew things I like... Like the stripes up the car :) looking to keep same colours (red, black and maybe silver/grey) and C1-R on side quite big. Maybe just slightly changing what I have would be good.

Best way to get consistent boost through all gears

Hi All

I have a 2003 JDM Evo 8 with the 6 speed box running approx 360 bhp and i'm looking at getting it mapped and upping the power, But i would like to be able to set a boost level that is pretty much the same through all the gears.
I currently have an avcr which although is a great bit of kit its a pain to set up and with having a 6 speed box i can't use the learn gear function which means i get vastly different boost levels in 1st and 2nd to what i get in 5th or 6th.
Which is the best boost controller to go for for ease of use and setup which i can set at a specific level and just leave it alone or have 2 settings that can be switched between. Or is there another way of doing it.

To be a part of this has been un-real. The only thing that can top this is to enter the rally itself.. We had a chance in one of the four cars that Betsafe.com have in the rally, but since my friend is in a wheelchair it couldn't be done.

Hi Guys, I am new to the EVO world and I am looking to buy a EVO VI around the 6k mark.

There is one on ebay appeared, it has quite alot of work done, running 430bhp, with forge bottom end, and intercooler, evo 9 diff and turbo I believe. Car is white, no milage, so I called him, said it had done 77,000km, on a S reg.

Car is up at 6300. Is that about right?

Guy said he used it for the odd track day, now is funding a new project. I can seen to copy the link into here for some reason, wondered if anyone on here had seen the car before? Reg is S285GHU

Like I said, I am very new to all this, and would be very grateful of any help that you can provide.

After a aftermarket turbo elbow for a 5 turbo, bought a new race logic stainless steel one from US but won't fit my 5 turbo as its for a 8. Either swap it for a 5 or if someone has one :) around

Right now I've had a hunt on google and tried the search function on here. I want some clarification please.
I've just bought some 2nd hand Billies off of a 9 that I'm going to fit to my 6. I'm a bit confused as to what springs I will be needing for them as I keep reading that the Bilsteins use 5/6 springs?
If I buy new springs, would I be ok with a set of Eibach lowering springs for a 6 or would I need to buy springs for a 9 because they are off of an Evo 9? Or should I just put standard springs on?

With most of the clubs finalising their lists now and adding them to the main list we have got 248 which is only 4 down on last year at the same period of registration ,Now the hard part starts trying to get the last 70 odd to put thier name on the list ""as they are still thinking about it "" for the last ten years registration closed at the 16th of June this year it's the Sunday 2nd of June then registration IS closed for the event and you have to wait to NBO 12 Or go on a reserve list !!

My petrol filler pipe leaks when filling fuel. What is the easiest way to take it out or easiest way to repair it. It leaks in the L bend before going in the tank at the top of the pipe.

A friend has an AP Racing Organic clutch that was removed from an Evo after only 1000 miles. The clutch was removed as the owner was looking for more power so changed it for a twin.

Its for a 4/5/6.

He bought it thinking he could use it in his car but unfortunately it is not suitable.

Part numbers are as follows:

Clutch plate - CP 6452-7
Cover - CP 4150-3

went to bob on Saturday to map the car

to show everyone, how an actuator can have an effect on when boost comes in...

need to thank bob, ray and oracle from start to finish... not forgetting motointrest for all his work to making the car what it is now....

sort the actuator out and hey presto boost comes in much quicker and harder!! :smthumbup

finished maps on here too (bob and oracle say if i get an up rated actuator boost will come in quicker..but to be honest, i'm glad its all done....)
